Got back from work trip yesterday. The work you guys did is awesome I am very happy with it. You’ve got a great team!
I'm very happy to recommend Kevin Nye and his team. Their work was nothing short of outstanding and all aspects of their work were undertaken at the highest standards.
My house had been grey pebbledashed in the 1970’s. I used Kevin to repoint with lime mortar the lower section of the front of the house. I myself removed the pebbledash to find a mixture of red rubber bricks on the main bay window area and yellow stocks on the front porch. It looked odd to have these two different coloured and styled bricks next to each other and obviously dirty from the pebbledash. I considered painting them to get a consistent look. Kevin very professionally and politely convinced me that they would look brilliant and integrated once pointed. And wow, what a result! The red rubber bricks look super but the yellow stock bricks with a herringbone inset are simply magic. People often stop when passing the house to admire the view. Kevin was a joy to deal with, provided a very competitive quote and also left me his scaffold tower so that I could paint the top of the house. But I have to say the quality of his raised lime mortar pointing is excellent. Kevin is absolutely recommended.
After Kevin did the first job for us, we were so impressed with his craftsmanship and professionalism that we have since asked him to do three more projects on our house. The brickwork is impeccable and we are constantly complimented on how nice it looks. He has the kind of knowledge and skill that is lost today, and brought back the beautiful original essence of our home.
Kevin and his team have completed a number of jobs for us over the years, including rebuilding window arches, replacing damaged bricks and repointing. The quality of work and knowledge of period brickwork is first class and they always take the time to clearly explain what the job will entail. They are very honest, good natured and I can not recommend them highly enough.
